The manual contains four major sections. The first develops a typical course outline that can help you in course planning. The second part contains help for old friends (changes from the fourth edition of the text), learning objectives, teaching notes, and end of chapter discussion questions and answers. The teaching notes contain what I consider student stimulation insights which can make the course a little more interesting and thought provoking. The end of chapter discussion questions are comprehensive and thought provoking designed to review the material in each and every chapter. Internet based project questions have also been added in this edition. Some were developed to elicit responses found in the text; others were written to encourage integration of the material in the chapter by the student. The second part of the manual contains a very diverse test bank containing multiple coise, true/false, and essay/problem types of questions and answers organized by chapter.
