The system can be fully used only from the territory of the university, i.e. using the IP addresses of the UIB-STUD, UIB-TEACH and UIB networks.

In order to use the system outside the home, contact the scientific library (room 321).

To use the Web of Science electronic database, you will need:

1. Follow the link: https://www.webofknowledge.com/
2. Select a specific database
3. Enter the search

IMPORTANT: Registration is not needed !!!

To register and use an electronic database with Elsevier Science Direct books, you will need:

1. Follow the link: https://www.sciencedirect.com/
2. Click on “Register”
3. Enter first name, last name, email and password
4. Click the “Create” button
5. In case of successful registration you will see a window with the inscription “Account created”

To login and use the Elsevier electronic database with Scopus books, you will need:

1. Follow the link: https://www.scopus.com/
2. Click on the “Login” button, and in the pop-up window in the column “username” and “password” enter the data with the registration in ScienceDirect!
3. Make sure that the “Войти через свое учереждение” option is selected.
4. With successful authorization, you can use the search.
