(Cjntact #CD_JEP-22077-2001 as an extended version of the lecture
number 9 "Data structures, sorting and searshing" in the book
"Architecture of computers "ed. S.Y. Serovajsky" S-Print"
Publishing House, 2004y. The aim of the project was to develop a
curriculum for a Master's degree on "Informatics" in the Kazakh
National University named after al-Farabi. In the project also
participated University of Newscastle upon Tyne (Newscastle, UK).
Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (Valencia, Spain) and the
Blekinge Institute of Technology (Ronneby, Sweden). The handbook
can be recommended for students of Informatics, Physics,
Mathematics and technical specialties, as well as graduate
students, researchers, engineers and professionals who are
interested in theoretical and applied aspects of computer science
and computer technology.
